국문논문투고규정
1. 한국세라믹학회지(이하 “본지”라 한다)에는 총설(Review), 논문(Paper), 속보(Communication)로 구분하여 게재하며, 투고 시 그 구분을 명기하여야 한다.

2. 국내외 타 논문지에 심사중이거나 게재하였던 논문은 투고할 수 없다.

3. 논문은 수시로 접수하며, 학회에 도착한 날을 접수일, 심사 완료된 날을 게재 승인일로 한다.

4. 논문은 전자접수를 원칙으로 한다.

5. 논문은 다음에 따라 작성되어야 한다.
    (1) 사용문자는 영문, 국문 중 택일하고 가로쓰기를 원칙으로 한다.
    (2) A4용지에 한글이나 MS워드를 사용해 작성하고, 본문 글자크기는 11 point로 하며 각 변에서 2.5 cm씩 여백을 둔다.
    (3) 표와 그림을 포함하여 15쪽 이내를 원칙으로 한다.
    (4) 논문은 다음 순서대로 작성한다.
      가) 영문 논문제목
      나) 영문 저자명(Full Name), 소속기관명(부서명), 도시명 우편번호, 국명
      (예) Kil Dong Hong
      Department of Ceramic Engineering, Hankuk University, Seoul 137-849, Korea
      다) 국문 논문제목
      라) 국문 저자명 및 소속기관명(2개 이상일 경우에는 *로, Corresponding author는 †로 구분하며, 전화번호, Fax 번호, e-mail을 명기한다.)
      마) Abstract(영문 150단어 내외)
      바) Key Words 5개 이내- 영문 작성
      사) 서론, 실험방법, 결과 및 고찰, 결론
      아) REFERENCES
      자) 표(Table)
      차) 그림(Fig.)
      카) Acknowledgement

    (5) 그림(사진포함)은 사진원판 또는 해상도 600dpi이상이어야 하며, 본지의 반단 또는 전단으로 인쇄될 경우를 고려하여 선의 굵기와 글자의 크기를 알맞게 선정한다.
    (6) 표와 그림의 설명은 다음 예와 같이 영문으로 작성하고, 표는‘Table’로 시작하여 표의 상단에 적고 그림은 'Fig.'로 시작하여 그림의 하단에 작성한다.
      (예) Table 1. Chemical Composition of Raw Materials
      Fig. 1. XRD patterns of ZnO varistor sintered at 1250℃ for 2 h.

    (7) 본문에서 영어 단어는 모두 소문자로 한다. 단, 약어는 모두 대문자로 할 수 있고, 고유명사, 표, 그림 안의 단어와 괄호 안의 원어 등의 첫 자는 대문자로 한다.
    (8) 숫자는 아라비아 숫자를 사용하며 SI단위 사용을 원칙으로 한다.
    (9) 문헌을 인용할 경우에는 글귀의 오른쪽 어깨에 인용하며 그 차례대로 1), 2), 1,2) 또는 1-3)으로 나타낸다. 참고 문헌란에 학술지의 경우는 「 모든 저자명, “제목,” 학술지명, 권 [호] 쪽 시작 번호-끝 번호 (년도).」의 순서로, 단행본인 경우는 「저자명, 서명, 출판수, 권 또는 판수, 편집자명, 쪽 시작 번호-끝 번호, 출판사명, 소재지, 발행년도.」의 순으로 기술하되 잡지의 약호는 Chemical Abstract의 그것과 같이 한다. 참고문헌은 모두 영어로 표기하며, 논문 제목 다음에 소괄호를 만들어 사용된 언어명을 명기한다.(예; in Ger., in Jpn.).

6. 연구가 완료되기 전에 얻어진 중요한 발견이나 연구 결과는 이를 속보(Communication)로 투고할 수 있다. 이 경우도 (4)항에 따라 작성하되 일부를 삭제할 수 있다. 표, 그림을 포함하여 6쪽 이내로 한다.

7. 투고된 논문은 본지의 투고 논문 심사규정에 따라 심사를 거쳐, 편집위원장이 게재 여부를 결정하며 심사 결과에 따라 저자에게 원고의 정정을 요구할 수 있다.

8. 본지에 게재하기로 결정된 총설, 논문, 속보에 대하여 저자는 소정의 게재료를 지불해야 한다. 단, 비회원의 경우 총 게재료의 50%를 추가하여 지불해야 한다.

9. 다음과 같은 경우에는 8항과 별도로 추가하여 실비를 납부하여야 한다.
    (1) 부적당한 도면을 다시 그릴 경우
    (2) 별쇄를 25부 이상 요구할 경우
    (3) 인쇄될 쪽수가 6쪽을 초과할 경우
    (4) 천연색 사진 등 기타 특수 인쇄의 경우


10. 다음과 같은 경우에는 논문을 접수하지 아니 한다.
    (1) 투고 규정에 맞지 않는 논문
    (2) 본문이나 그림 등이 깨끗하지 못한 논문


11. 심사가 끝나 게재 승인된 논문은 저자가 한글 또는 MS워드 최신버전으로 작성하여 전자문서로 송부해야 한다.

12. 논문의 최종 교정은 저자가 직접 한다.

13. 심사답변서는 3개월 이내에 제출하여야 하며, 제출 기간을 초과할 시에는 본지에 투고 의사가 없는 것으로 간주하여 종결처리하며, 제출 기간을 초과하여 제출할 경우 새로운 투고로 간주하여 재심사한다.

14. 본 학회지에 게재된 논문의 저작권은 한국세라믹학회가 갖는다.

Instructions to Authors
Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society, published monthly, contains reports of original research on all aspects of ceramics and ceramics-based composites. All manuscripts submitted are considered for publication, with the understanding that they have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.


1. Types of Contributions
There are three categories of papers published in the Journal: articles, rapid communications, and reviews.
    (1) Articles report original research relevant to the field of ceramics with complete, detailed, self-contained descriptions of research efforts. Each article is reviewed by qualified review panels. Manuscripts should normally be no longer than 10,000 words.
    (2) Rapid Communications are brief scientific or technical reports on new experimental or theoretical concepts relevant to ceramics. Each communication is reviewed by one qualified reviewer. Communication is limited to 3000 words including an abstract.
    (3) Reviews are occasionally published on topics of current interest or critical issues in the specified subjects. Section headings and an abstract are required. Journal reviews are always the lead paper in the Journal. Authors planning to submit a review should consult the Editors-in-Chief.

2. Submission of Papers
Authors are asked to submit manuscript electronically through the Society Homepage(www.ceramics.or.kr). In case typed manuscript has to be submitted, consult with the publication coordinator of the Society. Contact information for the corresponding author, including an E-mail address, fax number, and telephone number, must be provided with all submissions.

3. Manuscript Preparation
All manuscripts must be typewritten, double-spaced including the abstract, references and figure captions in a format to print out in A4 size papers. Left and right margins should be at least 2.5 cm each. The following specific items should be noted.
    (1) Title: The title should be concise but informative enough to facilitate information retrieval. Acronyms are not allowed in the title. Introductory words such as "On," "Observations on," and "Study of" are to be avoided. Chemical name rather than chemical symbol are to be used in the title.
    (2) Author′s names and Affiliations: Author′s full name should be provided in the order of given name, middle name and family name. The affiliations of the authors at the time the work was performed should be presented, with the institution and department names presented in full, along with the city, state, postal code and country. Do not include local address information, such as street name.
    (3) Abstract: An abstract of about 150 words or less must be accompanied with each manuscript. The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the research, new or unusual methods used in the experimental procedure, significant results, and the conclusions of the articles. The abstract should avoid the use of jargon and other terminology that would render its content inaccessible to the nonspecialist. No footnotes for references may appear in an abstract. At least 5 key words should be followed after the Author′s abstract, beginning with the headline key words.
    (4) Text Sections: The text of each paper should be divided into three or more sections. Typical section titles are as follows:
      Introduction
      Experimental Procedure
      Results
      Discussion
      Conclusions (or Summary)
    (5) Acknowledgment: A brief acknowledgment section may be presented immediately proceeding the reference section to acknowledge the financial or nonfinancial support.
    (6) REFERENCES: References are to be listed at the end of the paper in the order they are cited in the text, using each Author′s first initials and last name. Do not use et al. in the references. Chemical abstracts abbreviations must be used. Citations of other than the generally available literature should be avoided if possible. Formats of typical references are as follows:

    (7) Figures: Each figure must be clearly identified with a figure number and caption. Micrography should be glossy, black and white prints and must have a labeled unit length within the body of the picture. Captions of all figures should be grouped in a single listing after the reference seciton.
    (8) Tables: Tables should be presented on separate sheets at the end of the manuscripts. The title should be as concise as possible. Tables should be numbered in Arabic numerals and given a clear descriptive title at the top.
    (9) Equations: Equations should be neatly typed, punctured and aligned to bring out their structure, and numbered on the right.
    (10) Notations: The SI system of units should preferably be used for any numerical information. Nomenclature should appear at the end of each paper. Symbols should be listed in alphabetical order with their definitions in SI units.

4. Publication Charge and Reprints
Upon the submittance of manuscripts, authors will be charged of review process. And, the authors and their institutions (or companies) are required to pay a publication charge, which entitles them with 25 reprints. Additional reprints will be furnished when ordered with the return of galley proofs.

5. Copyright
Accepted papers including their electronic versions shall become the exclusive right of the Korea Ceramic Society and may not be reproduced elsewhere without the Society′s permission.
